In 2002 we developed this product specifically help cure wear problems that a restoration customer was having with pre-war classic cars. our customer was seeing signs of scuffing and cam lobe wear on a classic car engine with flat tappets. This problem was being caused by the reduction of zinc in newer motor oils. We formulated our Classic Car Motor Oil SAE 20W50 to deal with these problems which resulted from government mandated new air quality standards that caused automakers to equip cars with more stringent catalytic converters. It is this reduction of zinc (ZDDP) that has benefited newer engines at the expense of older engines.

Our product was formulated by a petroleum engineer and is blended and packaged by one of the largest independent motor oil blenders on the west coast, an ISO 9001:2008 registered company.
